Rainbow healing

You've probably heard or read that eating fruits and vegetables in the colors of the rainbow is good for your health. But do you know or have you thought about that our chakra also has the colors of the rainbow and each color represents an area of the body. If you eat fruits and vegetables in colors that correspond to the chakra color, it has a healing effect on that place in the body.

Grounding during a cold time

Autumn is here with wind, rain and cold days, and the body needs hot soup, stews, and drinks. Coziness – “hygge” indoors with candles and wrapped in blankets. We also need grounding. In summer, we get grounded by walking barefoot on grass and in the sand on a beach. When it's too cold to walk barefoot, we can get grounded by going out into nature, enjoying the beautiful red, orange, and yellow colors of trees and plants. Touch the trees or embrace them, it is a way to get grounded or put your palm on grass, sand, or soil.

Root chakra

The Root chakra is connected to the element earth, and stands for basic trust and life force, eliminating fatigue and lethargy, and is associated with your sense of security and vitality, the feeling of being at home in your body. Physically, the root chakra is located from the bottom of the spine and tailbone all the way down into the legs, knees and out into the feet. Psychosomatic problems are stress, depression, anxiety, and worries.

Stress and anxiety

A great many people worry about something daily. Women are more affected by stress, but stress affects everyone at all ages. Many young people today suffer from anxiety, some are given medication, but there is not talked about that small changes in nutrition and connection to nature have a healing effect on worries, stress, anxiety, and depression.

Personally, I was exposed to chronic stress, recurring depressions, and lower back pain for several years after my divorce. Diet and nutrition change along with grounding and mindfulness exercises led to a healing effect on body and mind.

Rainbow healing

Rainbow healing is about healing body and mind with nature's resources. The Root chakra is red, so think about eating fruits and vegetables in red colors every day. In addition, root vegetables heal the root chakra's location with physical pain in the lower back, arthritic pain and stiffness in the legs, knees, and feet.
