Short biography for the book
I am Merethe M Shenon, and I am Danish American. My life has been a seesaw trip between Denmark and California. Since my adolescent I have had a desire to author a book, but I just did not know what to write about. I have however been writing many thoughts down in my countless notebooks over the years.
After a lengthy divorce process in California with chronic stress, returning depression and psychical pain as a result, I began to study psychology to find out why I had landed in a psychologically abusive relationship. Later I became certified in psychotherapy, mindfulness, and nutrition. My depression and loneliness became worse in the years after the divorce, and I had to take an exceedingly difficult decision to leave California temporary to heal myself.
Back in Denmark I began my healing process step by step. It was mindfulness that healed my depression and stress. Adding good nutrition to my diet healed my physical pain. After healing myself, I started coaching clients with the methods that I have used in my healing process.
My authorship is based on my own experience, where I in my first book Love yourself Love your life describe the methods, that I have used to heal myself psychological, physiological, and spiritual. In addition, I tell my own personal story from the day I went to bed and did not want to wake up again, till the day I felt free from past trauma and pain.
Love Yourself Daily Journal is a follow up and daily guide to love yourself. Every day there are new question to think about and then write down over a three-month period. In between I give you, the reader, steps to overcome anxiety, depression, stress, and what you can do to take care and love yourself as well as much more.
