worry vs. happy

For years now, I have wondered how often the word "worry" is used or misused in our society. We are bombarded daily by authorities and the media about how much we should now worry. It constantly sounds: "Are you worried?" "Should we worry?" "There is reason to worry now …," etc.

Where is the happiness? For life and for each other?

We have just experienced two years of COVID-19. The virus is still here, in many places in the world more widespread than here in Denmark. However, the authorities have already announced that we should be worried about a new outbreak of COVID-19. Authorities do not tell that the best way to avoid a virus, including flu and other health threats, is to maintain a robust immune system and a minimum of eight hours of sleep. When we worry daily and get too little quality sleep, our mental and physical health suffers.

If you notice a certain tiredness and lack of energy, then turn off TV news and other negative media. Turning off "news" is not the same as not caring what happens in the world. It's taking care of yourself and your health. I always say, and throughout the Corona pandemic: "Do everything you can to maintain your health." "What I need to know, it will come to me."

We as human beings need joy and happiness. So, look around and be happy and grateful for everything you have. Spread joy and happiness to others, your fellow human beings, who you meet and are together with during the day. Smile and say something positive, we need that, and it can make a big difference in your own life and that of others. Let the next pandemic be HAPPINESS. Everything we focus on we get more of, both the positive and the negative. Turn worry into HAPPY: "I am so happy and grateful for my health and my life."

In health and happiness!
